Faerie Films Director Appears on Cox3’s “The Mix”
Jennifer Mattox appears on talk show to discuss the
documentary “Vending Machine”

Aliso Viejo, CA – December 7, 2005 – Throughout December see Faerie Films’ founder and director of the upcoming documentary Vending Machine, Jennifer Mattox as she appears on Cox3’s “The Mix”. The topic of discussion is childhood obesity and other eating disorders and how they are affecting the lives of our children.

“It’s imperative that adults and parents openly discuss the issues that are contributing to the declining health of our children,” said Jennifer Mattox, director of Vending Machine. “We applaud Cox3 and “The Mix” for tackling the subject of childhood obesity and for opening a dialog between experts and the community about ways to address the issues," Mattox concluded.

Vending Machine, a full-length, theatrical-release documentary, will examine children's health issues as seen from the point-of-view of several authentic teenage children that are being targeted by fast food marketing, deficient school food programs, social pressures, and today’s fast paced lives. Faerie Films is presently in production on the documentary, with the film’s release expected in the Summer of 2006.

Cox3’s “The Mix” presents a unique up-to-date perspective on a variety of issues concerning women. Hosted by Leslie Leyton and Bridget Kelly, this upbeat, stylish show features dynamic guests focusing on everything from relationships to health issues and delves into family, fitness & fashion and much, much more. The program is seen in approximately 275,000 homes in Orange County.
