There has been an unfortunate misunderstanding and misrepresentation lately regarding the intent, and spirit, of our production "All Jacked Up, Life Inside the Vending Machine". By no means have we, or are we, attacking the vending industry, and we've enjoyed reading the numerous internet postings and press releases from your organization's spokespersons and others implying that we are blaming the actual machines and machine vendors for any obesity or adolescent health issue.

Our film is strictly meant to open the discussion at a teenager's level about a wide spectrum of health and nutrition issues, of which public school vending machines filled with soda and snacks and vending machine contracts are at issue.

In the public's best interest, we should be engaged in a healthy discussion of the issues and we invite your industry to discuss policies and make your case.
